Outbound Customer Service Advisor

Location: Cheadle Customer Service Centre

Salary: £18,360 incl flex- OTE of £21,900

Basic salary rising to £18,900 after reaching acceptable performance standards (normally at the 6-month mark)

Next start date is 2019

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Working in our Outbound sales team at the AA, you are not going to be tied down with boring shifts! We love to have a work/life balance here, so you will never work Sundays, or Bank Holidays and we only do a half day on a Saturday.

We currently work a 3-week pattern with a week of early shifts that start at 09:30, a week of later shifts starting at 12:00 and a 3-day weekend so you can balance your time with friends, family and hobbies. And … if that was not enough on the third week you also get a “choice week” where you get to pick the hours you work!

What will I be doing?

As part of our Outbound sales team your role will be to call our current AA members and customers who have left the AA and talk to them about the benefits and rewards of having a continuous membership with us. You will build relationships through conversations where you will ask the right questions and provide the right information to our members. You will talk to our members about all the products and services we offer engaging our customers in conversations about the benefits of the AA.

You don’t need any experience of our products as you’ll be given excellent front line training right from the word go. You’ll soon become an expert!

This is a great role in an environment which is supportive and friendly.

What Do I Need?

We’re looking for someone who loves to do things well, and works well with goals in mind, and has a passion for helping people and doing the right thing. What’s key is your enthusiasm and commitment to providing world class customer service to our members.

As a minimum requirement you’ll need:

* Excellent communication skills

* The ability to work as part of a team

* The ability to share your knowledge with others

What's in it for me?

* Free parking

* 23 days holiday + 8 bank holidays added to your leave entitlement

* Through our lifestyle scheme you’ll have access to discounted shopping vouchers, days out, holidays etc…

* Emerging Talent development programme

* Free AA membership after 12 months

* A share save scheme

We are The AA. And we keep everyone’s show on the road. We’re there for our customers wherever and whenever they need us, we’re always ready for anything.

That’s why, for over 100 years, we’ve continued to evolve and adapt. Today, as the nation’s number one motoring organisation, we offer a range of excellent products and services to millions of customers.
