To work within the European Loss Prevention Department to detect, manage and reduce the opportunity for external fraud within the online business.
Responsible for identifying potential fraudulent activity across all online markets that TDSE operate within.
Utilising the software and systems currently in place to help detect any potential high risk transactions.
To provide a prompt, efficient service when dealing with Guests and other functions across TDSE.
Work with the Loss Prevention Team to decide upon the most suitable action required once fraudulent activity has been identified to avoid any further loss to the business and document for reporting purposes.
Highlight frequent customers and any addresses that have been flagged as having been involved in fraudulent activity and implement process to ensure no further orders are placed.
Maintain an understanding of operational processes and adhere to the company’s Standard Operating Procedures.
Identify and communicate trends and/or process gaps to Line Manager for communication to relevant Managers within TDSE.
Provide feedback and input on how to continue improving the quality and efficiency of our procedures/processes.
Communicate matters of fraud through Lime Manager to appropriate law enforcement agencies.
Attend team meetings and provide clear and concise feedback to Line Manager and Loss Prevention team.
Ad hoc tasks and projects as required in line with the needs of the business
Accountable to the Loss Prevention Manager/Representative
Accountable for the daily monitoring of high risk transactions
Accountable for the creation and updating of case logs and the recording of known or suspected fraudulent addresses and customers.
Previous experience of a fraud analyst role preferred but not required.
Previous experience working in an e-commerce retail environment is desirable.
Understanding of Mozart and World Pay would be an advantage
