Amazon Business is seeking a dynamic and motivated New Account Manager for our Marketplace sales team. New Account Managers are responsible for initiating and developing strong relationships with small and medium sized businesses to sell their products on Amazon.co.uk. They balance their time between launching new business seller accounts and assisting those sellers to grow their account. The candidate will be expected to develop and manage a transactional sales pipeline with a high volume of activity while executing sales strategies to secure deals that meet or exceed account acquisition and output goals. The ideal candidate will have experience developing relationships with key influencers and decision-makers, be able to work across functional areas such as production, supply chain, business development, and create and present compelling solutions that exceed seller expectations.

Roles and Responsibilities
· Contribute to prospecting and lead generation activities
· Assisting sellers with registration
· Meet or exceed targets for seller account management
· Educating and networking with key prospect and seller contacts
· Relay market needs and requirements back to internal Amazon teams including Product Management, Technical and Category Management teams.
· Drive customer and seller satisfaction
· Work closely with marketing, merchandising, business development, seller support and other key internal Amazon stakeholders


· BA/BS degree or equivalent
· Experience including sales experience in eCommerce, retail technology, SaaS, or software industries
· Experience prospecting, qualifying, and cold-calling companies
· Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach
· Always does what is right for the customer; relentlessly customer-focused


Preferred Qualifications:
· Ability to work with legal, product, and internal business owners to reach mutually beneficial agreements
· Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others
· Strong analytical skills including Microsoft Excel
· Experience using Salesforce.com or other CRM tool
· Superior communication and presentation skills
· Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment
· Ability to prioritise and manage multiple responsibilities
· Creative, has initiative, and can constructively advocate on behalf of the customer
