The role of the National Sales Manager – Roofing / Building Protection will involve:

·         National Sales Manager position, selling a high quality portfolio of manufactured building protection products for predominantly the roofing and facades market place

·         Working on roofing systems, rendered facades, natural stone facades, brickworks, damp proofing, structural waterproofing, external waterproofing, concrete repair / protection, concrete admixtures and more

·         Initially you will be managing a team of 2 Technical Sales Managers

·         You will be expected to analyse the UK market trends and strategically road map the company’s direction

·         You will have your own revenue target as well as set budgets / targets for the team to grow year on year

·         Selling to  main contractors, specialist applicators, installers, architects and consultants

·         A smaller element of the role will need you to understand the distribution channels and route to market

·         Working on both refurb and new build projects

·         Reporting direct into senior management level

The ideal applicant will be a National Sales Manager – Roofing / Building Protection with:

·         Must have sold a technical related building protection / roofing system into contractors, specialist contractors, applicators, installers and specifiers i.e. architects and consultants

·         Ideally sold waterproofing, damp proofing, concrete repair, façade repair, roofing protection, structural waterproofing, mould prevention, waterproofing membranes, cladding, renders, brickworks, external walling, facades, EWI, glazing, building envelope, insulation

·         Must be a strategic thinker, able to analyse competitors and market trends

·         Must have contact within the industry

·         Must be commercially astute

·         Must have a detectives mind-set

·         Must be able to sell a technical solution in a competitive market

·         Ideally have management experience (would consider somebody without management however you must have in depth industry knowledge and the capacity to do so)
