Job Title: National Sales Manager – Aluminium Systems

Industry Sector: Architectural Aluminium Fabricators, Aluminium Systems, Curtain Walling, Windows, Doors, Facades, Architectural Glazing, Cladding and Building Envelope

Area to be covered: National

Remuneration: £60,000-£65,000 Neg. + £15,000 Uncapped Commission    

Benefits: Car Allowance and full benefits

The role of the National Sales Manager – Aluminium Systems will involve:

·        Field sales man management position, working for a high end manufacturer of architectural aluminium windows & doors and curtain walling systems

·        Responsible for a field sales team of 5 (4 ASM’s & 1 KAM) and 50 aluminium fabricators nationally

·        Leading meeting at Midlands based office (typically once per month) and spending time out on the road with field sales team, who sell into aluminium fabricators

·        Inheriting a well established team, the ambition is to grow new accounts

·        Revenue responsibility circa £10m-£15m

·        Day to day management duties will include; monitoring weekly call plans, producing accurate monthly forecasts, training and motivating the field sales team to achieve set revenue targets

·        Strategic role which will require strong leadership

·        Being conversant with the market information, competitors and products

·        Working on projects within: education, high rise residential, commercial office, healthcare and education

·        Utilising in-house CRM system

The ideal applicant will be a National Sales Manager – Aluminium Systems with:

·        Proven track record of man managing a field sales team within the building industry

·        Strategic sales management background, with an ability to potentially grow into a larger sales management role in the future

·        Aluminium systems industry experience is not essential

·        Experience of having sold to aluminium fabricators is not required

·        A personality of wanting to innovate yourself would be ideal

·        MBA or equivalent not essential but may be advantageous

·        Open to various building product backgrounds such as: insulation, cladding, roofing, curtain walling, facades, and other building envelope etc.

·        Demonstrable mentoring, training and leadership skills

·        Comfortable with a technical sell
