National Sales Manager - Healthcare - Home Based

Elevation Recruitment have exclusively partnered with a fantastic Yorkshire business that provide healthcare products to a range of sectors including NHS, Dental, Pharmacy Wholesale and more.

This is a brand new role that will lead a team of 6 in sales & key accounts across the UK. This role will suit someone who comes from a commercial background with the ability to not only lead the team but also ensure they are commercially focused on price negotiations, joint business planning with wholesalers, range reviews, rebates and NHS framework agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

*Monitor and report on all defined KPIs related to the sales area
*Lead, coach, mentor and empower the nationwide sales team by identifying training and development needs via regular field visits, to maximize business performance and ensure achievement of sales targets and other KPI's.
*Ongoing analysis of data to develop costed business proposals and make strategic recommendations for review and approval by senior management.
*Lead and plan all major negotiations with customers around annual joint business plans and price increases.
*Present a review of account performance (past, present & future) at internal meetings identifying challenges and opportunities as appropriate, including key deliverables and timelines
*Implement trade marketing activities with relevant Key Accounts to promote focus product lines in coordination with Product Management, operating within agreed allocated marketing budget.
*Be responsible for and drive the end-to-end tender process to create winning bid proposals.
*Attend relevant conferences and trade exhibitions as required.

Skills and Experience:

*Seasoned sales professional with a successful track record of achieving and exceeding targets
*5 years+ experience in a senior people management role
*Experience with full P&L ownership, including the impact sales negotiation has on the P&L and Balance sheet
*Demonstrable experience of developing key relationships with customers, including joint business planning and implementing commercial contracts
*Experience working with the NHS and / or Government contracts would be advantageous but not essential - may also consider those from FMCG /CD
