Innovative and growing company that manufacture a range of bespoke physical security solutions for the Critical National Infrastructure sectors.

Description

The Business Development Manager will be covering a national territory based from a home office.

The focus is on developing and increasing sales in the Energy and Transport markets.

Target markets are Energy, Transport ( rail), Data, Health, banking and Telecommunications.

The Business Development Manager does not necessarily need to be selling the exact types of physical security products, but are likely to be already employed as a Sales Manager or Business development Manager, having successful sales record in at least two of the above six markets. ( Energy and Transport most important).

With examples of high profile customers, both direct and indirect ( end users, contractors and specifiers).

Profile

The Business Development Manager will able to demonstrate:

  • Background is selling in to at least two out of six above industry segments with a good understanding of route to market. ( Energy most relevant. Providing they have the skills set for B.D, the rules should apply to other markets).

  • Able to demonstrate ability to sell added value propositions

  • Show they can gain business through existing contacts

  • Experienced in being able to identify and optimise new routes to market for existing products and identify profitable new product development opportunities

  • Excellent customer service and account development

  • Good relationship building skills

  • A strategic sales professional that is a comfortable identifying and planning a sales strategy, as there are implementing and carrying out that strategy

  • Ability to plan and manage own workload remotely from the company location

Job Offer

£52,000 to £55,000 base salary only, plus car and benefits package
