To manage and oversee all retail and foodservice accounts on a national basis from the Surrey based office. Ensuring all key joint opportunities are maximised, this role is pivotal in implementing the national account strategy with each customer. A key member of the customer facing team. The role encompasses a team of 2 people (2 National Account Managers).

Client Details

My client is one of the market leading food production and distribution company in the tuna industry. They have been going for decades and are growing extensively. As a result, they are looking for an enthused National Account Manager to join their team and manage the food services business.

Description

  • Budget achievement; sales, volume and profit.
  • Capacity optimisation; based upon rolling sales forecast.
  • Joint Business Plans; ensuring each JBP is on track and all accountabilities/KPI's within it are being met. Project management of related activities.
  • Relationship management; key relationship holder for Category Manager/Trading Manager within each customer.

  • Negotiation of trade agreements with assigned clients.
  • Development of suitable strategies for specific accounts.
  • Planning objectives of the assigned accounts.
  • Loyalty and development of client portfolio.
  • Identification of new business opportunities.
  • If necessary, development of a commercial team oriented to different channels in which the company is present.
  • Detect business opportunities and expand the existing portfolio within the active customer base.
  • Development and presentation of business proposals.
  • Achievement of the strategic objectives of sale
  • Develop an integrated strategy for the company's key accounts.
