National Account Manager – German Discounters and Premium Seasonal Retailers

Office Based, with some home working: North London ,

Circa 50,000 + car allowance + Bonus + benefits

With an aim being to continue to create the highest quality products possible, unlike many other businesses we need to be more versatile, focussed, passionate and ambitious. We understand the needs of our consumers and retailers and manage all aspects of the supply chain to provide mutually profitable solutions.

We are a boutique healthy and fine food, international business specialising in premium branded and own label products.   The focus is on developing our international range including products that benefit from the latest in food technology developments and appeal to a modern generation who want natural, healthy, and versatile food. 

 

Due to the success of the business we have distribution in the German discounters and we now require a professional National Account Manger to continue to win and further develop our business targeting branded and own label ranges.

 

Our seasonal ranges are also stocked in premium retailers such as John Lewis and there will be responsibility for these accounts.

 

Reporting to the Sales Director and being part of a successful sales and cross functional team you will help develop the business plan and sales strategy.  You will be responsible for the delivery of this plan. As this is a mix of new business development and account management your major KPI will be to grow sales by developing relationships cross functionally. Managing the promotional spend and developing retailer category plans, including own label ensuring they integrate with company and sector strategy.

 

Ideal candidates will have an FMCG background that has provided them with classical sales training and an understanding of the core needs of modern account management. An ability to manage negotiations backed up with a grasp of category management is essential. 

 

Experience of the discount sector and own label is essential
