The Role: Due to a recent restructure and internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join a heritage UK drinks brand as National Account Manager for the Discounters division. One part of this role will be to manage single and multi-point discounters and to maintain your company's presence as a top 2 grocery brand within them. The other part of the role will focus on specialist wholesale customers. Candidates need to have excellent relationship skills and a collaborative approach to negotiating. The customer base will demand a keen sense of business acumen, ability to spot opportunities and solve problems whilst coming up with new ways of fulfilling NPD in tough trading conditions. This is an attractive role for either a seasoned NAM with a desire to manage this customer base or a NAM who wants to work for a fun and fast paced business. Equally this is a fantastic opportunity for an astute and driven KAM/NAE who is ready for a step up in their career.

For this National Account Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
Experience of managing national retail accounts at head office level
The ability to interpret data and present it to clients is essential
Any experience in the food, drinks sector is desirable.
Excellent relationship building skills and the ability to negotiate in a collaborative way.
