Strategic Account Management & Development Role
The Role: Based from their West Midlands offices around half the week, the new National Account Manager will be managing accounts amongst wholesalers and buying groups, as well as looking to develop new accounts at head office buyer level. Setting out JBPs, holding P&L responsibility for a £multi-million portfolio and getting involved with forecasting, you will be managing accounts which are all in a growth period. Offering innovative products with a strong reputation for quality, this is a great opportunity to develop your account management career in a growing company as they have active plans for this new hire to manage a small merchandising team in 12-18 months. The Company: This major manufacturer is leading the way on a global basis and now seeks a new National Account Manager as they create a new role. They sell a huge range of decorating tools and have bespoke manufacturing capabilities to cover every customer's needs. Looking to double their sales turnover in the next five years, they are clearly an ambitious organisation with some strong brands behind them.
For this National Account Manager role, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
Strong track record of managing national retail accounts
A non-food sales background is required, having sold at head office buyer level
You will be well-educated and have received structured sales training
Candidates will be on an upward curve in their career and be hugely credible and professional
