The Company:
Working within the Enterprise Division of a Global corporation the National Account Director opportunity sits within the Telecoms arm of the business. Operating a 13,700km private telecoms network, with 265 Points of Presence and connectivity to over 80 commercial data centres that span the UK. With its extensive telecoms engineering experience, the company provides commercial security with unrivalled in-house engineering resource to Service Providers, Large Enterprises and the Public Sector providing a competitive range of leading edge Ethernet, Cloud Connect, Optical Networking and Co-location services.

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for New Business Development of key Enterprise clients within the Telecoms industry. You will come from a strong new business background where you have built strong relationships and have been solutions focused.
As the Account Director, you will collaborate with product management and marketing to ensure that the features, benefits, positioning, and pricing are thoroughly understood by target customers. Deal sizes can range from tens of thousands to multi million pounds and you will be expected to be comfortable working with customers across the spectrum.

Person specification:
The ideal candidate for the role will possess extensive new business background where you will distribute great confidence and tenacity as salesperson with demonstrable experience in the UK Telecoms market and its current trends. You will also understand our competitor positioning, market dynamics and developments. You will have an exceptional understanding of working within a large matrixed environment to deliver high value proposals and solutions to new business customers.
Knowledge of strategic selling strategies such as: Miller Heimann, SPIN, TAS, Holden or similar would be advantageous.
