FULL TIME: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
LOCATION: Lakeside, Cannock, Staffordshire
SALARY: £30K Dependent upon experience and qualifications

Our client's mission, simply put, is to change the lives of disabled children and their families. They provide access to the vital equipment they rely on, offer information and support through their team of dedicated healthcare professionals, sponsor pioneering medical research into the causes of birth defects and offer families a voice through their campaigns for change.

They are not like any other charity. All the stock in their stores is new, donated by retailers, allowing them to create a heaven for bargain hunters and savvy fashionista shoppers who want high street products at discount prices.

What they do and how they do it is unique. Their team members are passionate about what they do and the contribution they make in helping the families they work with.

The Opportunity:

The organisation has big ambitions to grow online sales and therefore, you will help to develop and implement the online strategy to reposition retail from its current bricks and mortar estate, to include a multi-channel online sales offering alongside.

You will have the autonomy to set prices, decide what gets listed, choose which online platform to use, currently eBay, Depop, Shpock (and the list is still growing) and to drive your dedicated team of multi-channel assistants to deliver. with the opportunity to work with some great luxury brands – Gucci, Channel, Prada, Tom Dixon and many more. The product range is diverse across accessories, bags, fashion, and home product to mention a few.

What they are looking for:

A trader with a strong background of making commercial decisions, you will be someone with a retail background (maybe bored being in store!) who is brand savvy.

Due to the nature of the product and platforms they use, you must have experience of managing compliance and have a high focus on product security.

You will be an effective leader, who is not afraid to get your hands dirty, with a strong planning and organising ability and great IT skills.

You will have the ability to analyse data and make decisions, leading from the front on stock management and other operational activity. In addition you will be flexible, have a can-do attitude and be very comfortable ensuring customer aftersales enquiries are dealt with to a high standard.

Previous experience of managing online sales accounts would be an advantage.
