DESCRIPTION

As the Microsoft platform sales specialist, you will have the opportunity to deliver on our strategy to build mind share and adoption of AWS solutions for Microsoft workloads across AWS’s global accounts.

You'll be responsible for working with strategic and global customers and their existing account teams to qualify and pursue sales opportunities for enterprise application workloads and datacenter migration projects. You will engage with our segment sales, solutions architects, partner and professional services organizations to drive large and highly complex opportunities to closure. By establishing and growing business and technical relationships, and managing the day-to-day interactions with these stakeholders, you will be responsible for driving top line revenue growth and overall end customer adoption.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Sales and business development experience; selling Microsoft Applications, Technology, Infrastructure and selling to customers moving Microsoft On Premises to the cloud
· Prior experience growing Microsoft or Microsoft related businesses, such as Microsoft licensing, including license mobility and volume licensing (such as EA)
· Track record of building rapport with C-level stakeholders, and working with Microsoft partners
· Building close relationships, and closing large revenue accounts
· Experience and success in negotiating complex deals with customers and partners. You've not only carried quotas, you've consistently exceeded them by doing the right thing for your customer
· Presentation and communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences in fluent English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Selling Windows Server, SQL Server or Azure
· Experience with data center migrations
· BA/BS degree - a technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus.
· Working directly with customers and partners in the Enterprise or Global (cloud experience preferred)
· Experience in specialized sales with business and technical decision maker audiences.
· Supporting a complex technical sales or specialist sales organization.
