Elevation Sales are currently looking to speak to experienced Sales professionals from the Construction and Building Supplies industry for a Merchant Sales Manager role that has recently become available with one of our key clients.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a global business who are extremely well reputed in the manufacture of building products. This role will take responsibility for the sales via Merchant distribution for a specific territory, therefore experience with this industry is essential.
Due to recent changes in the operating model within the business, they are now looking to appoint a number of Merchant sales professionals (across different territories) from the industry who possess the drive, enthusiasm and proven sales success to work with the existing team to drive sales growth.
The role will be based in one of two territories, either covering Barnsley to Milton Keynes or South London to Hastings. Candidates must be based centrally to one of these territories to be considered.
The main responsibilities of this role will include;
*Carrying out planned calls to merchants outlets on a daily basis *Delivering annual sales and account plans presented by Sales Managers *Grow and develop Branch sales above annual targeted levels *Identify and convert new stockists from competitors products to this company's range *Implement sales and marketing promotions in designated branches *Implement new product introductions *Negotiate new independent trading agreements
To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience;
*Demonstrable success in building relationships with merchant distribution branches *Experience of working in a field based role with targeted visits and calls *Experience of working with building products *Flexible to travel within the UK
