Today more than 58% of worldwide purchases from Amazon are made from third party businesses, that’s $160B in sales, mostly from Small and Medium sized businesses. Customers outside of Europe have access to a mere fraction of the fascinating selection from EU Marketplace Selling Partners. Amazon Global Selling (AGS) is enabling global customers get access to millions of new products from Marketplace Selling Partners at cheaper and faster shipping rates. It is a high-visibility initiative that is helping Amazon march towards its vision of enabling Customers around the globe to have access to the best selection at the best price.
The Amazon Global Selling Team is seeking a UK recruitment leader to take ownership of 3 UK to US Seller recruitment programs and to lead an organization of 10 people. This role has high exposure to UK (FBA), and US senior stakeholders. The successful candidate will also be on the EU AGS L- team which is responsible for steering the overall business, and will be in charge of a number of strategic projects on top of the core recruitment role.
Your responsibilities as a Recruitment leader:
· You will manage and organization of 10 headcount, of which 7 will report directly to you and 3 will be your skip level reports. You will coach them and develop them, not only to deliver on their core roles, but to develop their skills sets within Amazon.
· While this role does not have a direct recruitment target, you will help your account management team to address the largest sales opportunities. You will implement account management tools to analyze their performance.
· You will identify opportunities to increase the Sellers’ revenue across Amazon’s marketplaces
· You will ensure that these Sellers conform to Amazon’s high customer experience standards and you will help them take corrective measures if appropriate.
· You will collect Seller’s feedback and requests, as well as escalating issues limiting Sellers’ growth, driving teams across the business to prioritize and deploy fixes/improvements in a timely manner.
· As a senior member of the team, you will work on a number of strategic projects for EU Global Selling, including our approach on top Sellers, working on a combined approach with other businesses and trans- Atlantic logistics.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Minimum 6 years of experience in account management, sales, management consulting, or roles with similarly broad scope
· Minimum bachelor degree level qualification , or equivalent, preferably in a business-related subject such as Business Administration, Business Engineering or Business Information
· Fluency in English required; further EU languages preferable
· Strong business acumen, as well as communication and negotiation skills
· Proven quantitative analytical capability and project management skills in addition to being customer focused, extremely detail-oriented, and able to effectively prioritize and multi-task
· Successful candidates will have proven experience in developing original ideas, approaches, and solutions to typical, unusual, or difficult situations in a competitive and ever changing business climate
· Familiarity with Excel and knowledge of databases or CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience in Account Management, Sales, Management Consulting, Business Development or roles with similarly broad scope.
