As FSS Regional Sales Manager you are responsible for leading your Region by maximising sales and profit through your Regional Field Team. Delivering excellence through the best People, Operational excellence and careful P&L management. This role is pivotal in leading and developing talent and capabilities of your direct reports to achieve optimal performance. The FSS Regional Sales Manager is responsible for designing and implementing a Regional Strategy that inspires teams and enables the teams to deliver excellence in execution with optimal operational efficiencies.

Drive Retail Sales Performance

*

Execute a Regional Strategy that drives performance and ensure business plans are in place for each store to achieve Key Performance Indicators, maximising Regional performance.

*

Lead direct reports to deliver and manage effective targets to teams in order to drive performance.

*

Analyse business trends using financial reporting in order to develop strategies for profit improvements.

*

Continually review sales to identify areas of concern and opportunity in order to manage performance consistently, identify opportunities and implement plans to optimise performance.

*

Ensure District Manager and Store Managers optimise efficient planning to enable sales performance to be maximised, teams are engaged, and KPIs are delivered on a daily basis.

*

Lead Sales and Education teams to deliver effective use of social media, leveraging opportunities to drive and protect the business.

*

Create in store disruption to engage traffic and drive conversion.

Deliver 5 Star Customer Service

*

Ensure, through District Manager and Store Managers that high quality teams are recruited, inducted, retained and developed to enhance the values of the brand and contribute to the success of the business.

*

Ensure Trainers are focused on priority training and development needs to enhance the customer experience across the Region to achieve sales goals and brand KPIs.

*

Communicate and engage the team in business objectives in order to deliver the overall Regional Strategy.

*

Drive a culture where teams are developed, reviewed and appraised based on Performance Goals and KPIs.

*

Develop an effective network across your area to ensure shared knowledge of business activity.

*

Encourage teams to seek knowledge of competitor activity and local market conditions, with the purpose of making appropriate and innovative recommendations to drive the business forward.

Develop and Manage Talents and Capabilities of the team

*

Lead, coach and develop District Manager and Store Managers to proactively manage performance, absence and conduct, utilising the appropriate procedures and support.

*

Develop a consumer driven, commercial culture within the team of District Managers, Store Managers and Trainers to positively impact on productivity.

*

Plan for succession through the identification of individuals with potential for development and growth.

*

Effectively lead and manage the Trainers to create development plans for all team members to achieve certifications in a timely manner, and delivery of regional specific training needs.

*

Motivate and inspire the Regional Team, encouraging a culture of open and continuous communication.

*

Hold individuals accountable for their own achievements, performance and behaviours.

*

Delegate and empower the District Manager, Store Managers and Trainers to run the business successfully.

Deliver Retail Operations Excellence

Deliver strong Head Office relationships ensuring these are optimised for Regional success.

*

Overall management responsibility and accountability of Regional P&L.

*

Ensure teams maintain excellent visual merchandising and hygiene standards at all times.

*

Partner with online to operationalize Omni channel for MAC.

*

Lead teams to plan and co-ordinate store and area resource levels to optimise service, sales and profitability.

*

Drive teams to manage stock effectively working to priority SKUs and agreed stock holdings, and work to reduce business shrinkage.

*

Ensure that all stores adhere to compliance requirements in all areas of operational activity, H&S and company policies and procedures with all stores achieving a minimum overall grading of Acceptable during audits.

*

Clearly and concisely communicate business and Area objectives to your team in order for them to remain well informed of business activity and of their required contribution to targets.

*

Lead new door openings, ensure that timelines are adhered to and demonstrate effective planning in insuring that all the elements required for success are achieved.
