As a result of this rapid growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for a newly created Lifestyles Manager role to be based at our Head Office in Bournemouth.
About the Role
This unique and exciting opportunity will suit a creative and passionate individual, who has direct experience of working in Events Management, for example, leading a cruise ship entertainment programme or managed and delivered events and activities, particularly in a retirement setting.
The successful individual will establish a Lifestyle and Enriching Lives Strategy, part of which will include assessing the business needs and aligning the Lifestyle piece to support this through the implementation of a Lifestyles Programme, together with producing a fully comprehensive toolkit and training/induction material for operational staff so that they can deliver a wide variety of social and physical activities that meet the lifestyle needs and preferences of our Homeowners.
The successful candidate will provide advice on how Developments can integrate within their community, enhancing a sense of belonging and being part of a wider thriving local community, together with working closely and supporting new Estates Managers and House Managers on how to get a Social Committee off the ground.
There will be lots of opportunity to contribute to the success of this role through innovative thinking and engaging with the Estate Managers and House Managers in the field. The individual will also have the autonomy to make a really valuable contribution and enhance the customers’ experience through the Lifestyle and Enriching Lives Strategy.
This role will suit someone who is hard working and passionate about enriching the lives of the older generation through the creation and implementation of a suitable Lifestyle Programme for our developments.
Experienced in their field, the successful candidate will be highly creative and commercially aware, someone who can think outside the box and can seek out and deliver new opportunities for our customers and the business.
You will have exceptional communication skills, fostering positive relationships with internal customers as well as the ability to effectively network with external suppliers and services who can provide competitive offerings to extend the Lifestyle Programme.
You must also be computer literate, with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Word, Excel, Publisher and some social media experience.
The role is office based, however, travel may be required from time to time.
