The Role

Working across all the licensing clients with the Licensing Coordinator, you will work to ensure that all licensing clients are supported fully through the term of their contract with Hearst across all Lifestyle brands.

This role reports into the Licensing Manager and is a key role in ensuring the account management strategy is implemented across all clients, ensuring business needs are met on a day to day basis. You will have overall sight of all account management, with specific client management duties for a selection of clients. Your goal will be to create the best plan to meet client objectives, build strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders and exceed client performance expectations.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Strategy

• Work with the Licensing Manager to develop standardised protocols for client account management

• Implement those standards across the team, ensuring day to day client contact exceeds expectations

Stakeholder Management

• Regular liaison with all relevant internal stakeholders – editorial & commercial

• This should include working through marketing schedules for each brand and client

• Regular liaison with all external stakeholders – establish trusted relationships with clients by maximum engagement

• Lead quarterly review process

Process

• Own client management relationships & manage business flow of licensing account management

• Build & grow client relationships

• Derive insight through sales figure analysis & marketing processes

• Strive to continually improve client management

• Maintain up to date financial records

• Lead internal business & financial reporting

• Lead day to day client management

• Act as a mentor to Licensing Coordinator

• Incredibly commercially aware and sales driven

• Strives for excellent results and excellent customer service

• Confident client facing presentation skills

• Excellent time management and prioritization skills; able to work effectively under pressure

• Collaborative attitude is essential

• Has (or willing to grow) a deep understanding of licensing market, and wants to stay ahead of the curve

• Proactive and enjoys a varied role
