Kitchen Sales Designer

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

 - To provide the customer with enough choice, advice and aftersales to leave a lasting impression of the Depot
 - To achieve and exceed individual and Depot targets
 - To negotiate prices ensuring you are maintaining growth on your margin
 Manage and maintain your own lead bank, keeping it updated and staying in contact with the customer
 - To provide potential and existing customers with the highest level of service
 - To assist with any other reasonable request in order to fulfill the requirements of the business and smooth
operation of the depot

 - To plan and design inspirational kitchens using the Company’s range of products
 You will be required to visit sites to measure and evaluate the customer’s needs
 - To effectively communicate with builders and the end user, amending plans as required
- An essential part of this role is using your product knowledge confidently, to ensure that you deal with customer enquiries before, during and after sales
- Creative mind in order to meet customers’ expectations of a dream kitchen

About You:
 - Excellent customer service skills
 - Proven experience in sales and exceeding targets
 - You will have strong creativity skills
 - You must hold a full valid UK driving license and have access to your own vehicle for business use
 - Excellent planning and organising skills with high levels of accuracy
 - Previous design (CAD) experience is preferred but not essential

Summary of the Role

To plan, design and sell, with the aid of computer aided designs (CAD), the full range of Howden Joinery products, keeping in mind safety and practicality, with the objective of achieving and exceeding depot and Company sales and growth targets.

The Role

• Plan, design and sell inspirational kitchens using the Company’s range of products with the highest level of customer service.
• Develop long term collaborative business relationships with customers from the building trade and their clients.
• Utilise Howdens unique 'My Kitchen' service which offers the ability to create and view high quality images.
• You will be required to visit sites to measure and evaluate the customer’s needs.
• Previous design (CAD) and/or sales experience is preferred but not essential.
• Correctly process estimates, pricing, delivery dates and stock requirements for your customer.
• You will be required to use your own vehicle during business hours, and travel expenses will be reimbursed accordingly.
