THE COMPANY: An independent, privately owned organisation specialising in the distribution of capital and consumable life science products with over three decades of experience. They provide the very latest innovative products used in a variety of R&D and production environments and they are currently seeking to recruit a driven, credible and suitably qualified scientific sales professional to manage and grow their business in the North West of England.
THE ROLE: The successful Key Manager will be selling molecular biology consumables, equipment and kits and managing key relationships within pathology laboratory environments in hospitals (as well as gastro, urology, oncology, microbiology and procurement), academia and pharmaceutical / biotech organisations in the main, liaising with pathologists, consultants, specialist nurses, microbiologists, lab technicians and buyers where appropriate. Candidates must have a relevant scientific degree (microbiology / biochemistry), an awareness of diagnostics and either experience selling into the above environments or experience working a hospital lab and the desire to move into a sales role. Full product and systems training will be provided and career and earning potential is very attractive.
