Key Account Manager or National Account Executive required to Handle Top Trade and Merchant Accounts for a Major Global Brand.
BASIC: c£32,000 to £37,000 plus 20% bonus – OTE; £44,000

As Key Account Manager / National Account Executive you will report to The UK Sales Manager and take responsibility for your own portfolio of major National Accounts across the Trade, Merchants, Wholesale and Distributor sectors.
This is a great opportunity for an outstanding Key Account Manager or Regional Account Manager to step up to a full Account Management role handling your own portfolio of major accounts including Travis Perkins Plc, Bookers, Costco and other Major Wholesalers, Distributors and Merchants. This is a new role following growth, restructure and expansion of their UK business.
You will be responsible for creating and implementing full business plans for each account which will enable growth. Key duties will lie in the areas of, pricing, range listings, product promotions, promotion execution, data analysis and sales strategy delivery across all the portfolio of brands. This is a fully autonomous position and you will manage your own budgets and control your own P&L/margin activity.
REQUIREMENTS: Key Account Manager or National Account Executive, Trade, Merchant or Distributor Sales Manager.
You need to have a proven track record of success in managing key or National Accounts within the Retail, Grocery, and Convenience, Cash and Carry or Wholesale or Trade Merchants markets. Above all we are looking for candidates with the drive, hunger and the ability to think outside of the box and willing to develop your career through hard work, commitment and success.
To be successful you will need:
•Experience of managing sales budgets and an understanding of category management.
•The ability to influence at all levels and network within major accounts.
•Demonstrable drive and enthusiasm.
Most important is your ability to plan, deliver and achieve. This role sits within a small, dedicated team which are action orientated and where your efforts will be clearly visible, with everyone supporting each other to achieve the same common business goals.
This position could suit an individual looking to progress their career and currently be working as an Account Manager, Business Development Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager, Senior Sales Executive, National Account Manager, Business Development Manager, Key Account Manager, Account Executive, National Account Executive, within the Grocery, Trade, Wholesale or Cash and Carry, FMCG sector.
