Key Account Manager, IT Software, Banbury, £35,000 Basic, £60,000 OTE plus significant benefits. This role is internally based and visiting clients across the UK when required. This is a brilliant career opportunity for a 'Grade A' Account Manager that has a reputation for significant account development by networking across corporate clients, upselling, cross-selling and providing customer excellence.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WITHIN IT SALES OR SOFTWARE SALES, WHILE USEFUL, IS NOT REQUIRED. HOWEVER YOU DO NEED TO BE A BRILLIANT ACCOUNT MANAGER WITH 'HUNTER TYPE' INSTINCTS.

This Account Management role is for a hugely self-motivated, goal driven, results-oriented talented Account Manager that is motivated by earning potential.

To apply, you will be a passionate B2B Account Manager with innovative commercial ideas and at least one year's corporate account management experience.

The firm is a well-established SaaS software provider that is both financially stable and cash-rich. They provide ground-breaking and market leading IT solutions to large corporate enterprises and is seen as a leader in their niche field. They are enjoying terrific success within a burgeoning sector that is growing by as much as 25% year on year and boast significant clients in industries such as retail, online retail, banking, logistics, airlines and financial services.

Your role is a sophisticated partnership building role that requires faultless networking abilities and a terrific commercial 'eye'. This is a proactive account development role that includes on-going management and assessment of the agreed contractual objectives for each client. The position involves regular 'phone contact and face-to-face meetings as required.

The Account Manager has full responsibility for the on-going retention of the accounts and the development of each account and its revenue by way of creating mutually beneficial opportunities. To this end, the successful candidate will be comfortable both in dealing with senior executives at both board and at technical levels.

So, what's required?

  • Unusually, we are looking for a 'mindset' rather than specific industry experience or qualifications, so you must be the kind of person that always has an eye for opportunities and is a strong character that 'makes it happen'. The opportunity to earn is uncapped, and as an effective Account Manager, you should earn more than £60K OTE.
  • We would expect robust account generation techniques, with a top performing track record in sales.
  • As a genuine Account Manager, you are supposed to be entrepreneurial in outlook with the skills to back up the attitude.
  • As part of the team, we would be looking for people who want to develop and are receptive to coaching and support.
