Key Account Manager, International Brands, FMCG, Advertising. £25,000-£30,000 Basic + Bonuses.

This is a true relationship management sales role tasked with developing existing client's relationships within the FMCG industry. As a Key Account Manager, you will be having daily contact with instantly recognisable house hold and international brands and you will be liaising with some of the world's finest retail companies.

This role requires excellent commercial acumen, an individual who understands the complexities a nurturing a portfolio of high spend accounts and who has an enthusiastic yet consultative sales approach.

To be considered for this role you will be able demonstrate exceptional business development / account management skills with experience of working all lengths of sales cycles, managing multiple projects and developed outstanding people skills.

This client is part of a very established group of companies that currently turns over hundreds of millions of pounds. They are looking for a person that has demonstrated throughout their life a desire to be 'above average'. What matters is that you must be an achiever with a 'zest for life' and a strong relationship builder.

This role will provide the opportunity for full training to allow you to become a subject matter expert. Employee investment is a key part of our clients approach to business and progression opportunities are rife.

Desired qualities

  • Previous Account Management experience;
  • Knowledge of Media Sales/Media Platforms;
  • Knowledge of Advertising;
  • A Confident, tenacious, proactive sales executive that isn't afraid to pick up the phone;
  • Confident in face to face Client meetings and presenting to an audience;
  • Team player, with the autonomy to work individually;
  • Experience using sales force or CRM software;
  • Self-motivated, determined, persuasive, personable and driven.
  • FMCG industry experience/knowledge;
