Due to continued exceptional YoY growth, we are looking for an experienced, skilled and dynamic Key Account Manager to support our Sales Manager – Retail & Distribution. Creating products for a number of different industries, we reach the market via a range of different routes that include online, via distributors and through key trade accounts/distributors spanning pleasure, health/organic and medical channels. Already in over 90 countries, we are currently launching in the US.

The Key Account Manager Role:

This new role is focussed on nurturing newly acquired accounts and supporting more established accounts to strengthen good relationships, optimise sales and help to promote new products. In addition, this role will involve forging new relationships with businesses both as opportunities arise and as a result of intelligent business development on an individual and team basis. Ideally you will have knowledge and understanding of managing accounts in Health, Beauty, CPG type sectors and able to hit the ground running straight away. Above all you must be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative with the essential ability to communicate well with both customers and team members.

About You:

+ Key Account Management or sales representative looking for a move to Key Accounts
+ Ability to develop and implement a strategic, commercial plan for a range of customer types
+ Competence in the development of efficient systems and processes to ensure effective ongoing account management and structure
+ Experienced in (metaphorically!) opening doors and spotting new opportunities
+ Strong Windows based software, especially Excel skills essential
+ Experience with the use of CRM systems and their purpose
+ Always thinking of great ways to engage with businesses and looking to add value to your key accounts and the development of your strategic approach
+ Able to maintain the needs of strategic business goals as well as individual accounts to make effective choices that are in line with and contribute to company wide objectives.
+ Focussed on establishing and refining your systems and processes to improve efficiency
+ Searching for additional ways to add value to your key accounts, be keen to support them and make sure your products are being seen in the market.
+ Ability to think outside of the current structure to access new markets and audiences

Your attitude will motivate and inspire others around you – you are likely to be interested in the bigger picture rather than just the sales side of your role. You will be able to demonstrate strong commercial instinct in one form or another – even if that is not necessarily in sales.
