Michael Page are working closely with a leading Global FMCG business based in Hertfordshire. The Key Account Manager will drive sales and profit for the business and play an integral part in maintaining business growth within the UK.

A successful global FMCG Business distributing to over 110 countries. Working closely with private labels / own brands and also employing over 12,000 people worldwide.

Description

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Collaboratively working alongside Senior Management in order to increase sales and profit.
  • Support the Senior Account Manager through gathering information and data on the accounts. To answer queries both internally and externally.
  • To Support delivering the sales and margin targets set by the annual budget.
  • Maintain and keep working capital under control. (forecasting accuracy and over dues follow up).
  • Analyse the sales evolution vs internal targets.
  • Reporting customer sales evolution, up to date news and help update the Key Account plans.

Profile

The successful candidate will have the following skill set and experience:

  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years in an FMCG Sales Account management or Account Executive Role.
  • Degree qualified (preferable if Business Economics or Business Administration)
  • Experience in private label market would be an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and influencing skills
  • Fluent in English
  • PC literate and confident with numbers
