Key Account Manager will cover midlands and north developing existing accounts for their needs in clean water storage requirements. The role is technical and design led selling into M&E contractors.

A global leader in water storage systems and resources conservation with operations and services facilities on five continents. They deliver reliable, flexible and proven products and solutions that provide clean water applications across a wide client base.

Description

The Key Account Manager will have proven experience of developing business with existing customers, recognising additional revenue and sales opportunities, and fostering excellent customer relationships, in addition the ability to engage with senior executives of a customer business and excel at negotiating deals at all levels.

  • Contribution to the overall revenue growth within UK water sector
  • Maintain revenue streams with existing M&E customers
  • Strategic assessment of competitive landscape for each customer - monitor and report on competitors activities
  • Using recognised sales methodologies to ensure appropriate Account Planning for the business.
  • Provide input towards revenue forecasts, and monitor customer tender cycles, to allow adequate preparation
  • Find and respond to, Tender Qualifications and Tender documents.
  • Selling structural based Mechanical systems via specification route to market
  • Covering Birimgham and up to the North UK

Profile

The Key Account Manager Skills/Qualifications/Experience:

  • Industry relevant experience in water and utilities systems is desirable however applicants who have the ability to demonstrate technical experience / aptitude with products of similar application and/or complexity is essential.
  • Ideally 3-5 years previous experience in an account management role

  • Knowledge of the M&E contractor market/ a technical background is key

  • Excellent ability to create and maintain strong customer working relationships

  • Ability to drive a sale in partnership with a variety of teams

Job Offer

£38K to £40K + car + package - ( negotiable dependant on experience)

Role will be home based and the Key Account Manager ideally living in the Midlands area
