Description

Key Account Manager

  • Work under the direction of the National Account Manager, to help win new business whilst creating and delivering the retails sales plan.
  • Securing new accounts for each brand whilst Managing existing accounts.
  • Developing a strategic New Business development plan with the National Account Manager
  • Work cross-functionally and be knowledgeable within all areas of the account including buying, marketing, promotional activity and range planning.
  • Influence range plan development and product innovation.
  • Work with Supply Chain to manage production levels.
  • Accurate entering and maintenance of product, production, sales and forecasting data.
  • Processing sales and purchase orders.
  • Providing regular reports and analysis on product line and category performance.

Profile

Key Account Manager

  • 3+ years FMCG Field Sales or Key Account Management (food, drink or health products)
  • Professional, commercially astute and aware of what the competition are doing.
  • Focused on winning New Business
  • Confident, motivated and determined.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • Have a high attention to detail with great presentation skills.
  • An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
  • Be able to build outstanding customer relationships and have perfect 'people skills'.
  • Great organisational and time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Proven competency in numerical and analytical skills.
  • Experienced working with and Managing the P&L for the accounts they have worked with.
  • Experience of promotional activity planning and measurement.
  • Experience of NPD and launch processes.
  • Successful track record in delivering sales growth.
  • Strong drive and desire to be successful.
