Key Account Director
Location: London based
Salary: Circa £80,000 per annum + bonus & benefits
Our client is a European owned facilities management group. Privately owned, it is a significant global business operating in a number of countries, with over 3000 employees and hundreds of clients. The group has expanded through acquisition and is proud of not being overly bureaucratic. Services provided are soft facilities management services including cleaning, security and interior landscaping.
As Key Account Director you will develop contracts and sales with key accounts in order to build long term partnerships. The role will be based in London and the Key Account Director will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, approximately €10-20m in value. The Key Account Director will spend time in clients' premises and will act as the main point of contact for the client.
The role will report functionally to the Global Account Director, with a dotted line into the UK and London service delivery team. This is a new role and will provide the post holder with the opportunity to stamp their own authority on the market.
Key responsibilities are:
*Act as the key contact for London based international key clients, leading and coordinating communication with country heads.
*Set up and manage regular meetings with clients (quarterly business reviews, monthly meeting)
*Undertake actions to reinforce clients' loyalty (new initiatives, innovation, new services, continuous improvement, savings)
*Promote the company CSR approach for the benefits of the clients.
*Ensure an appropriate client relationship management strategy is in place for each contract.
*Ensure the contract is effectively and profitably managed within key performance indicators and service level agreements.
*Ensure contract performs within required financial parameters.
*Assume responsibility for developing the full range of the company's facilities services across countries for the benefit of clients.
*Position the company as a key supplier/partner for the client to generate a high level of value for existing contracts.
*Tenders / RFQs - qualification/capability/go or no go, offer positioning (price and margin) / approval process, quality and consistency of the documentation and offer, including offer and timescale along with leading the sales defence and contract retention
*Ensure appropriate competitor and market intelligence is gathered and shared in an accurate and timely manner.
*Promote the image of the company and the market awareness of services offered.
We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate the following:
*Experience in managing a single or portfolio of facilities management accounts with demanding clients, preferably within London.
*A strong dynamic and commercial approach to business.
*Excellent communication skills, combined with a significant level of numeracy.
*Experience combining managing existing accounts and new business development.
*Experience of operating within a matrix management structure.
The following would be desirable:
*French or Spanish language skills.
