Job Title: Junior Area Sales Manager – Taps & Showers
Industry Sector: Regional House Builders, National House Builders, City Centre Developments, Private Developers, KBB, Bathrooms, Plumbing Contractors and Plumbers Merchants, Bathroom Retail Showrooms
Area to be covered: North
Remuneration: £23,000-£25,000 + £3,000-£4,000 Bonus
Benefits: Fully expensed BMW car & benefits
The role of the Junior Area Sales Manager Taps & Showers will involve:
Junior field sales position selling a mid to high end range of bathroom taps, showers & accessories into the regional housebuilder market
· Supporting and working closely the Northern Area Sales Manager and Northern RSM
· Field sales role promoting taps/ showers and accessories
· New business development role
· Targeting regional housebuilders and developers
· Utilising our client’s database of regional developers
· Smaller amount of time managing relationships with main contractors and plumbing & heating merchants and retail showrooms
· No specific revenue responsibility, although as a guide £200,000 would be a good achievement year one
· Targeting regional house builders that build typically between 10-100 units per year
· Cold calling
· Working from home when not out on the road visiting clients
· Following the supply chain through to invoice with trade partner, plumbing & heating merchant/ retail showroom
· Working closely with the estimating team
The ideal applicant will be a Junior Area Sales Manager Taps & Showers with:
· Plumbing & heating industry experience
· Likely to have worked for a plumbing & heating merchant or bathroom retail showroom
· Looking for 1st field sales position
· Door knocker/ new business animal
· Comfortable cold calling
· Previous experience of selling into house builders/ private developers is not required
· Specific knowledge of taps/ showers and accessories is not essential
· Strong character, pro-active, energetic and hungry
· Team player
· Self motivated, decisive and resilient
