An opportunity has now arisen for an IT Sales Manager to join this forward thinking IT support/solutions Company. This is the ideal role for a results-driven and ambitious sales professional with an understanding of IT industry who has a demonstrable track record on B2B solution sales and sales management.
As an IT Sales Manager, you will be managing the New Business Sales team, Telemarketing team along with attending New Business appointments yourself to hit a personal sales target.
You will be responsible for visiting prospective clients' sites, writing proposals, negotiating contracts and closing sales. In addition, you will manage the sales team providing sales assistance, influence, motivation and training, and have a desire to hit and exceed sales targets.
- Attend New Business meetings to hit personal target
- Assist Sales Team on appointments, proposal writing, negotiation and closing
- Manage New Business and Telemarketing teams
- Train staff
- Ensure smooth interaction between, sales, account management and technical team
- Provide weekly/monthly reports to Director
You will be comfortable, willing and able to lead by example and adopt a practical hands-on approach. Your excellent communication skills will also be vital in this role, as will your business acumen and strong commercial and financial awareness, in addition you will have the below:
- Experience of (and great aptitude and passion for) people management
- Experience in selling IT Services & Solutions
- A focused approach to meeting and exceeding targets (both individually and through a team)
- Experience in writing proposals, negotiation and presentations
- Knowledge of hardware, operating systems, networks and software selling solutions
Salary £45,000 basic, OTE £70,000
