Investor Relations / Business Development Manager – £30,000 to £40,000 + uncapped commission – London

The Role

Bespoke Connections are looking for a talented and motivated Investor Relations / Business Development to develop new and existing client relations for the company to bring about new business. Candidates with experience in real estate, private equity, venture capital and other alternative investments will be considered for this role.

You will be working alongside Senior Management to create and implement changes necessary to grow the business internationally, being part of a proven platform endorsed by some of the world’s leading asset/investment managers alongside a number of $1bn+ families. The key responsibilities of an Investor Relations / Business Development Manager include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing new and existing relations with clients, boosting investor confidence and belief in the company vision and strategy for delivering shareholder value
  • Creating and managing a strong reputation by demonstrating consistent and clear communication between internal and external parties
  • Preparing and creating financial and research models using excellent presentation, data analysis and data visualisation skills
  • Working with legal counsel to ensure compliance on regulatory matters

The Benefits

The benefits of being an Investor Relations / Business Development Manager are:

  • Additional uncapped commission on deal flow (direct investments successfully introduced to investors) – average 15% on each deal/investor successfully introduced
  • A realistic first year OTE of £60,000 to £70,000 (basic + commission + project bonus)

The Person

The key skills and qualities of an Investor Relations / Business Development Manager:

  • Must have knowledge and experience within the Investment/Financial Sector, with preferably an existing network of Family Office/Private Wealth/Asset Manager contacts (especially within UK/Switzerland/EU)
  • The ability to source and actively engage with Top-level Investment Decision Makers from Family Offices, Asset/Fund/Wealth Managers and Institutional Investors
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and entrepreneurial skills, able to strengthen existing relationships and develop new relationships with Top Tier Investors
  • Minimum academic qualification of a university degree or above
  • A dynamic, highly confident, passionate self-starter who is an extremely hard worker and able to manage multiple workstreams in a high-pressure environment
  • Used to CRM systems like Salesforce
  • Candidates who know multiple languages are extremely desirable
