International Sales Manager – Portable Furniture

Job Title: International Sales Manager – Portable Furniture

Industry Sector: Portable Furniture, Furniture, Tables, Chairs, Flooring, Interior Spaces, Education Sector, Schools, Colleges, Universities, Dealers, Leisure, Hotels, Hospitality, Dealer Partners, Corporate End Users, Europe, European, International, Man-Management, Management

Area to be covered: International (must be UK based, ideally South of England)

Remuneration: £55,000-£60,000 + uncapped commission giving OTE circa £80,000

Benefits: Company Car & Full Benefits Package

The role of the International Sales Manager – Portable Furniture will involve:

·         Field sales role selling a high quality manufactured range of portable furniture predominantly into the education sector

·         Majority of your time targeting large education furniture manufacture’s, schools, colleges and universities

·         Remaining portion of your time will be spent selling directly to end users such as the hostility sector, dealers, retail, construction companies, prisons and corporate businesses

·         There will be an element of international travel to visit key accounts and develop new business, however the majority of your time will be spent in the UK

·         Managing a team of 7 field sales representative, 6 being UK based the other based out of Germany

·         Problem solving, resolving conflicts and providing solutions to customer’s needs

·         Majority of your time managing existing accounts, with element of new business

·         Developing strategic objectives for the field sales team to get the most out of the sales division

The ideal applicant will be an International Sales Manager – Portable Furniture with:

·         Must have a proven track record in field sales selling into the education sector such as schools, colleges and universities (would consider somebody with strong route to market with furniture dealers)

Must have experience managing a team

·         Must have some sort of European/International field sales experience

·         Ideally familiar with the  portable furniture products such as flooring, lockers, stages, tables and chairs (not essential)

·         Highly motivated and able to work on own initiative

·         Excellent communication and negotiation skills

·         Self-starter, good time management skills, focused and customer service orientated
