Job Title: Internal Sales Manager – Composite Decking

Must be based: 1hr from Stevenage

Remuneration: £40,000 + £20,000 commission

Benefits: travel expenses and benefits package

The role of the Internal Sales Manager – Composite Decking will involve:

·         Internal sales position selling a new high end range of composite decking, cladding, and balustrades in the commercial market sector

·         The majority of your time will be spend selling to / dealing with the distributors channels with national & independent timber & builders merchants

·         The remaining small portion of your time will be selling / generating specifications with architects, main contractors and sub-contractors

·         Targeted to achieve £1.2m

·         Focusing in commercial projects such as: hotels, office blocks, restaurants and schools

·         Regularly reporting into director and working along-side other sales staff

·         Ensuring the CRM system is organised and updated

The ideal applicant will be Internal Sales Manager – Composite Decking with:

·         Must have a proven track record in construction field sales selling a related building product such as: timber products, composite decking, cladding, panelling systems, balustrades, acoustic panels, concrete panels and composite & aluminium fencing

·         Ideally work in an internal sales position currently in a timber / builder merchant (not essential)

·         Must be commercially astute: appreciation for profit margins, presenting, communication and exceptional negotiation skills

·         Ideally have transferable contacts within the fencing industry

·         Well presented, determined, analytical with genuine integrity

·         excellent presentation and communication skills

·         Computer applications and to think creatively, analytically and commercially are also highly desirable
