Internal Sales Executive – Plumbing & Heating

Job Title: Internal Sales Executive – Plumbing & Heating

Industry Sector: Plumbing Contractors, Plumbing Installers, Regional Developers, Housebuilders, Under Floor Heating, UFH Components and Plumbing & Heating Products

Based: Hertfordshire office/ home office

Remuneration: £30,000 Neg. + £6,000 Bonus

Full Benefits Package

The role of the Internal Sales Exec Plumbing & Heating will involve:

·        Internal sales role selling the design, manufacture and supply of underfloor heating systems

·        Targeting predominantly new build developments, but also a small amount of renovating housing developments

·        Selling direct to the plumbing contactors/ plumbing installer

·        Typical project value’s £5,000-£10,000, our clients component part circa £3,000

·        Inheriting a small amount (approx. 12) plumbing installer accounts day one to gain confidence

·        Majority of time initially will be new business development

·        Tasked with achieving 15 meaningful new business calls per day and circa 5-10 existing customer calls

·        Expected revenue target year one circa £500,000

The ideal applicant will be an  Internal Sales Exec Plumbing & Heating with:

·        2 years sales experience

·        Plumbing & heating industry background

·        Knowledge of underfloor heating is not essential

·        Practical trade or DIY knowledge/ empathetic

·        Ideally understands CAD or architectural drawings

·        On-site/ contracting awareness is beneficial

·        Excellent phone manner

·        Consultative and technical sales approach

·        New business hunter, with a pro-active and self motivated personality

·        Established circa 10 years

·        15+ employees

·        Circa £5m turnover

·        Privately held
