Internal Sales Executive - Hitchin, Hertfordshire
Highly Experienced Internal Sales Executive required.
Salary £25,000 - £30,000

We are looking for a highly experienced sales executive to join an ambitious and fast-growing wholesale business to drive sales of the company's products to individuals, businesses and government organisations etc. As well as approaching potential customers with the aim of winning new business, you will strive to maintain good relationships with existing clients, gaining repeat business wherever possible. The primary driver will be to maximise sales growth, quote conversion rate and repeat business order value. The company has undergone significate sales growth and is looking for an individual who can continue to drive this high rate of growth moving forward by implementing and championing key sales development strategies.
This is a unique opportunity to work in a small fast-growing business where you will quickly become a key member of staff. You will be working closely with the Sales Director, the rest of the sales team and the key decision makers. Build good working relationships
Understand the needs of your business customers
Research the market and related products
Present the product favourably and in a structured professional way
Listen to customer requirements and present appropriately to make a sale
Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers via telephone calls, emails and in person
Cold call to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
Respond to incoming email and phone enquiries
Act as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets
Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales
Gather market and customer information
Challenge any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy
Advise on forthcoming product developments and discuss special promotions
Make accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations.
Negotiate on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers
Timely recording of customer, order and quotation information onto the company’s computer system following defined processes.
Feed future buying trends back to employers
Review your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
