We have an excellent opportunity for Internal Sales Executives to join our client’s experienced sales team based in Manchester.

The Company
Our client is the UK’s largest stockist of Non-Ferrous Metals with over 60 years’ experience of supplying high quality products to engineering companies both globally and all over the UK.

The Role of Internal Sales Executive
You will be working with an experienced sales team and an external Business Development Manager servicing existing and new accounts, with an opportunity to make a big impact in the industry, enabled by a huge stock resource to support your sales targets.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Generating and managing new leads
  • Managing a portfolio of sales accounts to targets set with your enthusiastic commercial approach
  • Taking inbound enquires and following up with customers via telephone or email
  • Inputting orders and enquiries into a stock control system
  • Purchasing back to back material for customers when required
  • Working directly with the sales manager and business development manager to improve the business
  • Accountability for your own performance, time management and sales targets

The Person
As an Internal Sales Executive, you will need to have/be:

  • 2+ years proven experience in a B2B environment
  • Previous experience in a similar account management role (preferred)
  • Enthusiastic and confident personality
  • Strong work ethic and the drive to succeed and progress
  • Can-do attitude, self-motivated and sales motivated

As an Internal Sales Executive, there is on offer a basic salary of £20,000 with potential to increase to £22,000 after probation, free parking and a contributory pension scheme.
