This leading multi-million-pound chemical distributor based in Kingswinford, is looking for a tenacious, driven, individual with previous sales experience to join their expanding team.
This company has grown exponentially since its inception in 2003.
Today they boast a 50,000 sq ft purpose-built distribution facility, a semi-automated warehouse, complete with up to date technologies. They are proud to be advocates of sustainability and are conscious of the carbon footprint they leave. Their site is powered by solar panels that generate enough electricity to be self-sufficient.
An opportunity has become available for a talented and driven account manager to join their expanding team.
The role will involve working on a number of house accounts, ensuring that business is maintained and cultivated as well as prospecting new customers to drive sales forward for the area.
You will have total autonomy of the area running it how you see fit working towards KPI's and sales targets.
Office based, 8.30am-5pm with an hour lunch break.
Generous Basic + bonus
Previous business development/sales experience with the experience of developing new and existing relationships.
- Comfortable with an element of cold calling as well as generating their own leads via internet research/social media/press.
- Able to work well on their own and as part of an area sales team.
- Good time management and a basic understanding of maths are required.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Good attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Enthusiastic and sociable.
Basic salary of £20,00-£22,000 dependant on experience.
Uncapped commission, paid monthly, which could take OTE to £30,000+
20 days holiday per annum + bank holidays. Increases 1 day per year after 2 years service up to maximum 25 days.

Based in Kingswinford local to Wolverhampton, Dudley, Stourbridge and the surrounding areas.
Abundant car Parking available but close to public transport so although someone with a driving license would be preferred it is not essential.
The role is office based with the occasional customer visit/sales rep accompaniment (2-3 times per annum).
