Inside Sales Rep, Legal

As a member of the Corporate Sales Team the Inside Sales Rep primarily requires a constant level of contact with our internal partners and external client base, the focus being on developing new business opportunities from new clients who are potentially embedded with competitors. You will create relationships with key contacts and look to broaden Thomson Reuters’ impact, access and revenue from each organisation. You will create, manage and close a pipeline of new business opportunities from the initial lead creation through to providing the agreed solution to the new client. This will require a high level of consultative work with potential subscribers.

The role has a high profile within Thomson Reuters Legal and success will open significant opportunities within the business as well as ensuring development on an individual basis. The role is therefore best suited to highly motivated individuals who are ambitious for personal success.

About the Role

In this opportunity as a Inside Sales Rep, you will:

Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims.

*

Maintain excellent sales process methodology and communication

*

Manage and own a sales pipeline which consistently delivers above expectation results

*

Manage product & service mix, pricing and sales according to commercially agreed aims

*

Use customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems, and update relevant information held in these systems

*

Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the sales process

*

Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development

*

Adopting and adhering to the core company values of, Business is Global, Customers are the Heart of Everything, Performance Matters and People make the Difference

*

Provide input into the future sales vision including new markets, new products, new customers and new ways of doing business
