SMG are one of the world's leading health, well being and performance support technology businesses. With an early heritage of supporting the New Zealand Rugby Union including the All Blacks the business has developed innovative software and platforms to support enterprise clients across Asia, the Americas and Europe. Having recently acquired a new health & well being platform in the UK they are now looking to strengthen their sales team with the appointment of this crucial role. With ambitious plans to create an expanded offering in the UK and Europe this role will lead the origination and sales of their enterprise solution, Kiqplan, to clients across the region.

Reporting to the group CEO key responsibilities will include:

  • Originating commercial leads for sales opportunities
  • Developing existing relationships for commercial growth
  • Identifying new clients, establishing key decision makers and initiating contact
  • Promoting the benefits of Kiqplan to enterprise accounts
  • Supporting the CEO with sales pitches and development of solutions for new and existing clients
  • Leading all sales activity for the UK and European region
  • Developing partnership relationships with key clients ensuring the commercial relationship is maximised for all clients

This is an exciting time to join SMG who have recently invested in this new platform and the UK / European markets. This role will be pivotal to the success of this investment and will play a key role in the growth of the operations across this region. It is vital that you are a hands-on sales professional probably working in a technology or telecoms market. Of equal importance the candidate will be able to promote a SAAS or technology product in the enterprise space. The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record of originating and developing leads into sales. Your ability to show resilience, tenacity and success will be a pre-requisite for this high profile and demanding role.
