A leading organisation based on the Surrey / South West London border has created an exciting new opportunity to join its Sales function.
A future leadership role, this is a position that will establish and build an inside sales function for the business, delivering qualified leads for the consultant style based business development manager population to follow up and close.
The organisation has a great brand, an amazing reach and an enviable reputation. People want to talk to the organisation. This role will look to leverage this reputation and develop the inside sales capability for business, to drive growth for and through their field sales teams.
Initially standalone (but with the intention to build a team of 5 quickly), the role will develop Salesforce.com usage, work with marketing to develop and follow up on in bound leads, convert enquiries into qualified meetings, develop and roll out targeted outbound prospecting campaigns, build social selling presence and work with marketing to utilise social media and other tools to identify prospects.
In a short space of time the role will also recruit and develop a team, shifting slowly into a full leadership role taking responsibility for the actions, motivation, development and success of a team.
To apply to the role, you will ideally be educated to degree level and have experience gained from consultative selling, professional environments. should be an inside sales professional who has reached the point in your career where you want to develop as a leader. You will have inside sales experience that has including opening conversations, booking meetings, qualifying leads ad building prospects through social media. You might not have managed people before, but you will feel ready to take on the challenge and you will want to develop as a leader. Initially interim, the organisation has every intention to convert the role into permanent employment as soon as they can, and they will invest in training and support to build a team around the right person.
