What you'll be doing

Nationwide use several outsourced partners for the day to day running of the network alongside their own staff to develop and maintain their networked ecosystem. This role would ideally suit someone with a keen interest in developing their knowledge and experience in multimedia network infrastructure and network management systems.

Our team is very service focussed and we use ITIL processes to manage and contribute to Incident, Change, Problem and Risk Management. The ability to prioritise, diagnose and learn new information quickly is vital and you will be expected to develop good working relationships with our outsourced delivery partners, with a common goal of maintaining an Always Available and Secure network.

The role will appeal to an applicant looking for a starting role within a Networking team and will have an interest in learning more about routing and switching whilst providing Level 1 support for Nationwide’s Remote Expert environment (Nationwide Now). This will be a challenging role and will draw on your skills to assimilate and process large amounts of information in an ever-evolving environment.

You will be joining a small, but very highly skilled team. This is a unique opportunity to gain unparalleled experience working on Nationwide’s leading multimedia technology, Nationwide Now.
