What you will do
Our building efficiency division delivers products, services and solutions that increase energy efficiency and lower operating costs in buildings for more than one million customers worldwide. We are a leading provider of equipment, controls and services for heating, ventilating, air-conditioning, refrigeration and security systems. The UK&I Service team has a large turnover and delivers innovative maintenance and service solutions to a wide customer base across all industry segments for Hvac, chillers, industrial refrigeration, controls and mechanical & electrical works.

This role will focus on selling service and retrofit works for chillers and HVAC within the mechanical and electrical industry. You will be responsible for the sales of service contracts and retrofit upgrade work for existing accounts and any new opportunities. You will build strong partnerships with key accounts whilst driving key decisions within our end user and service providers. You will be targeting solution driven opportunities within our HVAC or refrigeration sector that translate into profitable growth.

How you will do it
As a Sales engineer you will be able to function independently and be customer focused. You will establish long term customer relationships and be responsible for customer satisfaction through our sales channels and processes. A key function of the role is to identify, qualify and close new sales opportunities with a focus on new business and growth in the industry. You will understand the market and deliver opportunities where the wide range of JCI solutions can be offered. Proactively presenting the entire portfolio of solutions will drive and create interest across all solutions.

Track record and experience in service and retrofit selling
High level of creation of new accounts and opportunities
Strong communicator with a proven track record of developing sales within a commercial environment
Ability to manage and influence both internal & external stakeholders at all levels
Excellency in verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
