Home Based Sales Executive, Business to Business Services, £25,000 to £27,000 Basic Salary plus commission and bonuses. This sophisticated research and appointment setting role are with a growing Bedfordshire business that requires an individual with a fantastic ability to source targets and engage with senior level decision makers.

The role requires a persuasive and articulate sales professional who is used to communicating at board level and comfortable dealing with purchasing and other senior personnel. The position is information gathering led, and the quality of your business development is more important than the number of calls made. You will work closely with two field-based business development consultants who will attend the meetings that you arrange, and you will be targeted on setting eight to ten appointments per week. The role includes a full home office set up, and all calls will be made by a cloud-based calling system which is captured by the CRM.

With training and the occasional day here and there based from the office in Bedford, this is a corporate business development role that is more about building relationships and making professional introductions rather than selling. The position is home based but a full-time permanent one where there is a genuine opportunity for the progression into field sales or team management, should you want to when your circumstances change.

The role requires a bright, highly motivated, confident and tenacious professional with personality and natural warmth. You will be commercially savvy and used to using business data and social networking tools, such as LinkedIn to identify targets and make approaches.

The ideal candidate will understand terms such as social marketing, e-selling, social selling or inbound marketing and will use these techniques to develop leads.

The role requires an individual that has brilliant communication skills and is also committed, dedicated and flexible.

All backgrounds and industry sectors will be considered, but the ideal candidate will have received a good education and can demonstrate loyalty and consistency to their employers throughout their career. Excellent IT skills are also required, and the ability to use and network through LinkedIn would be of enormous benefit.
