Summary

Based in the depot, the Hire Controller’ role is a vital part of operations and operates on the frontline of sales and customer service. This position will be based under our Platform Sales division, who specialise in providing a comprehensive sales and hire service, of platform lifts, MEWPs and training to a range of industries in the UK - whatever your access requirement, we have the solution.

Main Responsibilities

On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to be desk-based, working directly with the other departments, liaising regularly with stock teams, drivers and engineers to ensure minimal delay in fulfilling the needs of the customer with readily available equipment and close contact.

Relationship building is the key to success, as the Hire Controller coordinates the entire hire process from taking the order through to delivery and collection, liaising with every part of the depot to ensure the needs of the customer are met and that they’re satisfied with our service.

Whilst your role will need you to demonstrate the competence to work alone, we work proudly with a team culture so adaptability and communication are key. Ideal Candidate

Essential:

* Strong organisational skills

* Strong communication skills both verbally & written

* Adaptability

* Commitment to learn and develop

Desirable:

* Driving license

* Previous experience working within the hire industry or similar sales or operational role.

* Previous powered access industry experience.
