Looking for a Head of Strategic New Business to support the growth strategy by leading the strategic account team to acquire new large domestic and international accounts
Leading a team of BDMs, you'll be accountable for new business growth across the UK. You can be based anywhere in the UK but must be able to travel to London from time to time.
A proven track record of sales management within a service led industry would be preferable.

About the role:
Through deploying a 3-year strategic account plan to increase profitable market share and enhance customer satisfaction you'll deliver revenue, margin, volume and business targets through identifying and delivering significant breakthrough deals.
Leading a team of Business Development Managers, you'll be accountable for new business growth across the entire Parcelforce strategic target market, supported by a market leading proposition.
Representing the 'voice of the customer' across the group you'll manage relationships with a range of supporting stakeholders including Pricing, Propositions, Finance and Marketing teams.
Keeping abreast of industry and account specific trends and competitor activity, you'll be proactive in targeting sectors where we have a competitive advantage, utilising CRM to track opportunities in developing a comprehensive new business pipeline.
The role is Remote Working so can be based anyone in the UK

With a proven track record of delivering results and the capability to lead a highly capable and experienced team, you'll inspire and communicate with clarity, enthusiasm and passion. You'll be an expert in solutions sales including planning, proposition development and pitching utilising your excellent written skills with the capability to create compelling briefs, presentations and business cases.
Your strong negotiation skills and a single minded focus on revenue and profit generation are essential along with being commercially shrewd, with a challenger attitude that is focused on the best outcome for the business and their customers. With strong strategic business development skills you'll have a proven track record of 'horizon scanning' and identifying trends and subsequent opportunity for growth. With the ability to influence at board level, through exceptional 'pitch' presentation skills, your strong strategic planning and project management skills, alongside experience in delivering change programmes will ensure success in this role and open up numerous career opportunities across the Group.
A full UK Driving Licence is required.
Basic Salary up to £70,000 plus Company Car plus Bonus
