Head of Sales, SaaS Software, Coventry, West Midlands. £80,000 Basic Salary, £160,000 OTE. Established four years ago and now achieving a sales income of £3M p.a. this pre-IPO technology firm has received significant investment and is looking to quadruple their turnover in the next five years. This is a Sales Director designate role where equity will form part of the medium-term package, and you are expected to have led a sales team on a tremendous growth trajectory. The company has in the last year almost doubled their turnover, secured their largest client and have a handful of prestigious 'logos' to form the foundations for their next stage of growth.

You will inherit the existing sales team of seven staff, and your role is to set the strategy and delivery model to achieve the growth expected by the investors. You will have absolute autonomy across all commercial areas of the business and recruit the talent required to deliver on your plan. You will spearhead all sales activities, including major account acquisition in conjunction with your team members and developing strategic partners. However, your bonus will be based upon overall firm sales growth rather than possessing your own sales remit.

Suffice to say, significant resources will be made available to you, and you will have the full cooperation and support from the board to deliver your strategy.
