The role of the Head of Sales / Sales Director - Kitchens Sinks & Taps will involve:
· Head of sales position selling a manufactured range of kitchen sinks, taps, worktops and accessories; appliances, hobs and lighting which have great growth prospects
· Will be responsible for 5 direct reports, as well as overall responsibility of the sales function
· Overall responsibility for the strategic development of the UK commercial sales market
· Expected to develop group strategy in the UK and implement your own ideas
· Help construct and implement sales budgets (short, medium and long term)
· Increase brand presence in the view to increasing profit year on year
· Will have some involvement dealing with / selling to large key customers such kitchen retailers, plumbers merchants, builders merchants, kitchen fitters installers main contractors
· Evaluate the UK market and analysis competition and potential growth avenues
· Working closely with and alongside the Managing Director and Marketing Manager
The ideal applicant will be a Head of Sales / Sales Director - Kitchen Sinks & Taps with:
· Must have extensive man management experience in a similar role such as; Head of Sales, Sales Director, National Sales Manager, Senior Sales Management
· Ideally have international level as well as the UK
· Must have a degree in business management, business studies or related
· Must have KBB product related experience such as: associated kitchen products, bedroom, bathroom, appliances and electrical products(would be open to other related background with extensive experience in growing and developing sales teams)
· Must have experience dealing with large key accounts at senior board level
· Ideally have contacts within kitchen retailers, kitchen showrooms or plumbers merchants & builders merchants is not required however advantageous
· Must have excellent communication skills at all levels within a business
· Must have high level computer literacy, highly numerate with analytical skills
· Must be commercially astute
