Head of Sales, Consumer Goods into Retail, £45,000 + bonuses + benefits, including equity potential in the medium to long-term, North Norfolk. This is a brilliant sales and commercial leadership role with a manufacturer of products sold into the retail, online retail and consumer goods sectors.

The role requires a brilliant sales and commercial manager that can put the systems, processes and strategy in place for long-term growth. The products you will represent are extremely high quality and aimed at the top end of the market. They boast unique benefits which are sold for their aesthetic and environmental qualities rather than price. As such you will be an enthusiastic and passionate sales professional that is highly skilled in negotiating and not selling on price.

What's needed:

* Proven sales track record and at least two years sales team leadership experience

* Solid commercial understanding and the ability to grow into the role of Sales Director in the next few years

* Experience from within a SME business (not all corporate)

* An excellent understanding of sales processes and forming a successful sales structure and culture.

* A persuasive and likeable team player that can quickly gain the respect of long-serving team members

* A positive demeanour - someone that is ambitious, approachable, cheerful, charismatic and dependable.

* A 'can do' attitude and willingness to get involved in areas that may not necessarily be in your 'job description'.

* A data-driven approach to identifying opportunities.

* A 'challenger approach' to securing new business and the ability to sell bespoke solutions.

* A loyal and logical career with natural progression and a CV that details achievements.

Personal positivity, lateral thinking and an ethical long-term approach are all traits that the successful candidate will need to demonstrate.
