A large media group, with a head office based in South West London, is looking for a Head of Sales, to lead one of its specialist sales teams.
The business is a market leader, working in the media space, but not one that focuses or has interests in print/
It’s a great place to work – business is good, its position strengthens year on year and the business has ambitious ongoing plans.
This role will lead a specialist team of Sales executives who focus on delivering solutions to the international portfolio that the business has. It works across verticals and countries, selling directly and via agents to ensure that targets are met. By nature of the spread of business, much of the teams focus is phone based (although where possible face to face selling is encouraged and international travel will be part of the role).
The role will be asked to deliver on targets for the group, leading, coaching and managing the team, whilst keeping an overview of the groups wider commercial interests.
To apply you should be a Senior Sales Manager / Head of Sales who has significant team management experience. You should have media related experience in your background. Ideally educated to degree level, you should be committed to continuous professional development and be passionate about developing teams. International experience and a second European language would be advantageous (but not essential) and some experience to selling internationally across difference sectors would be of interest.
